Case Study: UX research on Discord's most active football fan community

📃Task

Task was to prepare a research report on an Internet community and understand how people spend time in these communities, their behavior, usage patterns and gather findings that can be distilled into insights.

🎯Goals

• To understand how the community functions.
• To understand the expectations and pain points of the community members.
• Explore potential solutions that can enhance the overall community experience.

🔎Research Process

• Performing Secondary Research to understand how the community functions.
• Conducting Primary Research to understand user behavior patterns.
• Using the insights to create User Personas and Journey Mapping to better characterize the user base.
• Sharing the derived insights and suggesting potential solutions.

Why did I choose Sports?

If you know me at all, you know that sports (especially football) have always been and will continue to be a huge part of my life. Because sports have given me some of my fondest memories for as long as my memory would allow, and sports have taught me countless lessons that I can now implement in my everyday life.
